How to earn Qantas Points through Airbnb

Did you know you can earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points through Airbnb? You heard correctly! Booking a holiday can help pay for your next holiday! (well… that’s what I tell myself anyway…)

As you might already know, Airbnb doesn’t have it’s own loyalty program. Instead, they partner with other companies so customers can earn Loyalty Perks.

Airbnb have teamed up with three airlines that offer frequent flyer type programs; Qantas Frequent Flyers, British Airways Avios, Delta SkyMiles. They all offer different point to dollar ratios but domestically, we get one Qantas Point per every dollar spent through Airbnb.

While it’s relatively straight forward, there are a few things to note:

  1. Make sure you’re booking through the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program website https://www.qantas.com/hotels/airbnb

  2. Ensure you’ve logged in with you FF number and your details are correct.

  3. The points will be credited to your account up to eight weeks after your stay

  4. If your booking is cancelled, you won’t earn points You won’t earn points on cancelled bookings

  5. You details must match, so the name on the booking must also be the name on your Qantas Frequent Flyer account

  6. If booking an overseas property where the price is not quoted in AUD, then the points earned will be calculated on an AUD exchange rate used by Airbnb.

So with that said, what are you waiting for? Book your holiday today!

We can certainly recommend some great stays in Melbourne… https://www.airbnb.com.au/users/show/12590811
